The Foxwell Clinic is based in the heart of the Cotswolds in the south west of Cheltenham. Appointment times will vary depending on types of treatment and the availability of our practitioners. We appreciate that for some clients, their aesthetic journey may be a new one so we offer our clients a completely free consultation. This is to discuss treatment plans in detail and ensure we are tailoring treatments to your individual needs.
Treatment cycles can vary and some will be effective after just one treatment, others will be prescribed as a course of treatments. Aqualyx
Aqualyx is a non-surgical way to treat fat deposits and body shape targeted areas. This gel-based solution is an injectable fat loss treatment made of cholanic acid which is produced by the bile duct to help break down fat deposits within the body. It works on smaller stubborn pockets of fat and is licensed in the UK to treat areas such as the abdo, chin, hips, thighs, knees and under the buttocks. The solution disrupts the surface of the fat cells, weakening them which allows them to become permeable, absorbed by the body and then naturally excreted.
Treatment is usually spaced 4 weeks apart. Depending on the treatment area you will find a course of treatment can be as little as 1-2 sessions but can be up to 8 sessions. Whilst the treatment is safe it is not suitable for clinically overweight people, those over 60 years or people under the age of 18 years old. It is not a weight loss solution but can be used to manage stubborn pockets of fat.

B12 Booster Shot
B12 is a naturally occurring important vitamin within the body that aids energy production and metabolism. It is estimated that 20% of people have a B12 deficiency or suboptimal levels in their body which can slow down metabolism and affect their energy levels. Whilst a number of over the counter tablet options can aid the process of absorption of B12 in the body, a slow gastrointestinal tract can affect the ability to absorb this vitamin, meaning levels can remain low, despite supplements.
The B12 booster is designed to improve your ability to absorb this vital vitamin and improve energy levels. There are other added benefits clients report of improved sleep patterns, less general day to day fatigue, weight loss, increased concentration, improved mood and can boost your immunity.
As vitamin injections are a medical treatment, our medical practitioners will discuss treatment options with you on an individual basis. Not all of our clients would be medically appropriate to have these injections should there be any contraindications or increased risks to their general health. Botox
Botox treatments have been used as non surgical cosmetic treatments since the late 80’s and are becoming increasingly popular as a low risk, quick recovery option, with proven results. Many of our clients choose this treatment to boost confidence, reduce or eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, which creates a softer more youthful appearance to the face.
Treatment time typically takes 30 minutes and can easily be completed in a lunchbreak. There is no need for numbing and most clients state the procedure is a pretty painless treatment with little to no discomfort. Botox starts to work around a few days after treatment but maximum effect is achieved at 14 days. Typically it can last from 3-4 months but it is different for each client.

Profhilo
Bioremodelling is a more contemporary approach to anti-ageing which counteracts skin laxity. Profhilo is a high concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA) that looks to restore skin tone, hydration and firmness which in turn can reduce the appearance of lines. Many of our clients state they have experienced a ‘plumping’ effect from their treatments making their skin look dewy and refreshed.
Treatment can be applied to the face, neck, décolleté, hands and arms. It is an injectable liquid and numbing cream is applied topically to the area prior to treatment, if the client wishes. The HA then integrates into the skin tissue where it restores the natural levels of HA already found in the body. This treatment is not a cross-linked chemical injectable treatment and is considered to be much safer than other products offered on the market.

Lip Augmentation
Lip shapes vary for everyone and we at The Foxwell Clinic are able to give a realistic expected outcome from lip fillers based on the natural shape of your lips. This injectable dermal filler treatment is made from a cross-linked hyaluronic acid that is recommended specifically for the lips. Your practitioner will discuss treatment options with you to decide on the best type of filler for your desired result.
Whilst we appreciate other healthcare practitioners have taken every care with your previous treatments, sometimes our vision for your lips can vary with theirs. At times we may need to dissolve your previous treatment areas, to allow us to achieve the results and/or correct areas that may not quite fit with your intended goal. Please note that if we need to complete this you will need recovery time ‘post dissolving’ before we can rebook you to have the new filler appointment.
Treatment is usually a single session and results can last from 6 months upwards. We like to let you guide us as to when you feel you need a refresh but can discuss these options with you as part of the free consultation prior to booking any appointments.
