Expedition

Our HEE Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) has worked internationally in extreme environment’s whilst supporting Ultra Marathon runners in these challenging races. She has completed expedition work in South America in the Jungle, at altitude in the Andes plus worked along the Amazon basin. She has worked in the Arctic Circle and provided emergency care for collapsed patients, stabilised injured runners and arranged air transfer and movement in blizzard conditions, alongside the rest of medical team, in sub zero conditions. She has recently returned from working in Kenya for the collaborative charity event Running for Rangers and Save the Rhinos Ultra Marathon multi stage event.

Our ACP can work remotely worldwide and is available for short trips internationally, dependent on her working pattern at the time of your request. UK Events

Our HEE Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) has been working in the UK at sporting events for over 10 years and works as a Medical Director, ACP and Team Medic across a variety of events including OCRs, Ultra Marathons and Independent School Sporting events. She has also worked at a variety of Music Festivals as a Medic providing medical support for festival goers, that includes a wide range of presenting conditions and injuries.

She has over 20 years as an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner and works as an ACP in Urgent Care Clinics across Primary Care in the UK. She has helped write and teaches on Arduous Event Medical Training courses for all registered health professionals and completed CPD training over the years in Sports Medicine, ALS and PHICIS.
