Our work to date has included audits, online system management and training, CQC guidance and set up as well as in house training for appropriate medical staff working within these clinical areas. Additionally, the training and clinical supervision of staff within these areas has been provided to ensure they are meeting minimum standards as well as ensuring patient safety with advanced practice roles, as per the regulatory bodies for those professions.
Clinical Supervision
With the evolvement of the Advanced Practice roles within the NHS there are now more requirements for staff to evidence they are working at this level. The introduction of roadmaps for practice for the majority of these roles has been developed to support the workforce and allow staff to progress their careers and create a standardised approach to practising, with a focus on patient safety and employment recognition. We can provide an HEE accredited Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to provide this supervision and completion of the roadmaps to practice, to support your teams in developing without taking time away from patient care, to achieving the standards and capabilities required for CQC inspections.
Additionally, as our ACP is a fully qualified Academic Lecturer within universities UK wide and an NMC Practice Educator, she can provide supervision for undergraduate and post graduate nursing students / staff as they move through their training programmes.
